About

We provide a wide variety of circular knitted single jersey fabrics. From 40 GSM to 200 GSM, we produce circular knit structures using a variety of polyester, cotton, nylon, and their mixtures.
To provide particular qualities of elongation, tear, tensile, and bursting strength, these textiles are made in a range of warp and weft arrangements.

PVC/PU Coating process is done by applying PVC/PU Paste over knitted fabric made up of polyester or polyester cotton. This coating can be done via direct coating directly on knitted or woven fabric or by transfer coating.
PVC/PU coated fabric is used for sofa covers, car seat covers, shoes, bags, tarpaulin, rickshaw covers, auto covers, tents, railway seat and berths etc.

Part 01 Weaving Vs Knitting

Weaving and knitting are distinct fabric creation techniques: weaving involves interlacing two sets of yarn (warp and weft) on a loom, while knitting creates fabric by interlocking loops of a single yarn using needles.
Key Differences
1. Stretch Knitted fabrics are more stretchable and flexible. Hence gives good elongation properties at PVC/PU coated leather. They are preferred for upholstery and furnishing items. Woven fabric also known as matty fabric is very stable in construction and hence used for shoes application where no stretch ability is required.

2. Strength :- Matty or woven fabric are normally high strength fabrics then knitted fabric.

There is another type of knitting called Warp knitting. Warp knitting and circular knitting (a type of weft knitting) are distinct methods for creating fabric, primarily differing in the direction of loops formed: warp knitting loops vertically, while circular knitting loops horizontally, producing a seamless tube. E.g of warp knitting is Tricot which has good strength property.

3) Earlier we had huge gradiation in our PVC coated leather. It was as high as 15%, on analysis we found that most of grading in PVC coated leather was coming from susbtrate fabric. After buying from Raj Industries our grading due to base or substrate fabric has come down significantly.

We provide circular knit fabric is variety of knitting pattern like Cross Knit Fabric, Poly Knit Fabric, MK fabric, Jasch fabric, Spun fabric, PV fabric, Terry fabric, Polyester cotton fabric and FR Fabric with Fire retardant property conforming to RDSO CG07 and EN 45545 standards for PVC/PU coating for railways seat and berth . We also provide fabric in various color like white, black and any color as per customer requirements, we can do heat setting and raising of terry fabric.
